I’ve been back to reality now for a few weeks trying to readjust back to my normal life after visiting qualia haha trying to put the words together to write this review. So here we go! Well... where do I even start!! Oh my god. My expectations absolutely were blown away!!! What an experience from the minute we arrived to the minute we left all our needs were met without fuss. On arrival we were greeted with champagne and told to take a seat on the lounges, they came to us and reconfirmed all our bookings for our stay with a printed itinerary and checked us in. Not missing a beat, they were all over everything. We arrived at midday and lucky enough our room was ready! Service was impeccable. I was very very very pleased with the room, we had a great pavilion right on the front without obstruction of views of the water. IT WAS INSANE!! The room was beautiful and well cleaned being serviced twice a day. Towels were of course white and fluffy with the bath robes and slippers to match. Quality is top notch.   The property was just gorgeous, the gardens are stunning. The weather was probably the best weather we had all year. We couldn't believe how lucky we were. The included breakfast could be ordered to your pavilion and eaten on the balcony overlooking the water. We did this almost every day! It was the perfect way to ease into the day ahead.   We did the Whitehaven Wonder trip Qualia offered. AMAZING. The boat was pure luxury and we were taken very good care of, free flowing champagne and drinks with delicious food. The staff that managed the day were fun and made the day. Worth every dollar. Would highly recommend booking this option. It’s super enjoyable as there are only 8 people per trip. Whitehaven is not to be missed!! We even saw loads of Whales which was a highlight!   One of our nights we did the 6 course dinner at Pebble Beach which ended up being 9 courses as they had 3 extra surprise courses. The food was probably the best food I've ever eaten. So much delicious local seafood. A must do!!   On our last night we had dinner at the Long Pavilion. Each meal was so delicious and the service unparalleled. The whole experience was incredible. We got a table on the very front of the deck which overlooked the water and Whitsunday islands. Such a amazing location. They have designed it so well.   We had a spa treatment, again - the experience was well done and what you would expect for such a high class resort. The pool area at Pebble beach is to die for!! The staff were so great in letting us order off the menu pretty much whatever we wanted including specially made cocktails. You need to ask for a Bannacolada - I’m still missing them. Oh and the complimentary icecream by the pool always hit the spot.   Last thing we did was the complimentary beach drop off - what an experience!! Where else in the world can you be dropped off at a private beach in the Whitsundays for the day with a beach umbrella, deck chairs and a picnic basket full of goodies and drinks and then picked up later in the day? I was loving every minute. We had the entire beach to ourselves! A bit surreal actually. Memories I’ll cherish forever.   All the staff were pleasant and very friendly. Over the week we were there we got to know them quite well. We had Sarah who would always drive us around the island, Diego was our cocktail waiter by the pool, Rhys our breakfast and dinner waiter and Sam on the front beach for all our water sport needs.   The resort was maybe half capacity and it was lovely. Super quiet. Could always get a sunbed by the pool and booking at the restaurant. Never felt like it was super busy or chaotic. I felt relaxed from the minute we drove through the gates on day one.   I could sit here and talk about it all day. I had the best time and so so happy we decided to go. There isn't one thing I could criticise or pick on. I think it might turn into an annual trip. You can see value in the price you pay a million times over - it really is a 6 star resort in the most beautiful part of the world which just happens to be my backyard.

Brilliant weekend. Must do One Tree Hill - fabulous sunset views, especially with a celebratory glass of bubbles or two. Whitehaven Beach simply breath taking, a picture postcard. The sea at Whitehaven is so warm, all that is missing is the bubble bath. Recommend a helicopter trip to the Barrier Reef which was amazing. We flew over Heart Reef on the way, which was stunning, so beautiful. Next day was a 360 degree jet ski trip all around the island. We stayed in a villa, absolutely amazing, with incredible views out to sea. An outstanding resort.

Amazing! From the moment you hop in your private transfer you’re treated like a VIP. The driver was very knowledgeable about the island, once we’d arrived we were greeted with champagne and introduced to the general manager who was very friendly. Check in was completed with a self driven buggy trip following the staff to your pavilion. A bottle of champagne in the room was a great touch and greatly appreciated. We were looking forward to the complimentary beach drop off however unfortunately due to the tides it wasn’t possible. We did however take advantage of the complimentary private boat adventure with the activities team. Pierce was the skipper and he was so knowledgeable about the island and made it a great experience! Big kuddos to Amelia from the activities team who accompanied me kayaking on two occasions as I was nervous to go alone. They are both great assets to the Qualia team and really made our experience! We also had Mario serve us pool side throughout our stay and he catered to our off menu requests without any hesitation. The complimentary ice cream by the pool was also a great bonus. If your looking for a luxurious experience and top service Qualia is definitely worth the money. We’ve stayed at many luxury hotels across the world and Qualia now tops our list. We’ve already booked our next trip back! Weather was also great for August - highly recommend this time of year as it’s not too hot and you’ll have a great chance to view whales from the lobby, pebble beach pool and your pavilion!

The trip objective was to leave feeling rejuvenated; objective met. We stayed in the Leeward Pavilion, a spacious and calming experience. There are varied experiences available depending on time and preference. We spent a lot of time in the water and out hiking the various trails on Hamilton Island. The two infinity pools were never busy with plenty of space for guests to enjoy without interruption. The service was impeccable, warm, friendly, with staff who have a genuine interest in getting He to know their guests. It was the little touches that elevated our stay; a little chocolate and tea delivered to your room at bedtime to the movenpick ice cream whilst lounging by the pool. Aesop toiletries and champagne on arrival topped this experience.

From the moment you walk into this hotel you feel you are special , customer service is outstanding , rooms and villas are outstanding with very nice views and a dedicated pool for every room and also a dedicated golf cart for every room to use inside and outside the resort . Food is so good with a fine dining option and also the special private trips to a private island during your stay is quite special . I would say this is the best hotel/resort all in all I have stayed in Australia.
